Indonesia coal reach 280 million tons year 2010
Indonesia Coal in The year 2010. Indonesia Coal mining Associations (APBI) predict, coal production will reach 280 million tons in next year. Head Leader APBI Bob Kamandanu told, if the production realization reached, then will go beyond target of of government of 250 million tons.
For 2010, coal productions can reach 280 million tons, higher from target of government of around 250 million tons. Bob which also President Director the Coal Gold arises, in this year, coal production also able to go beyond target of government which only 230 million tons. To the last this year, coal production there forecasted able to reach 260 million tons.
Export market still to India, China, Japan, for requirement of power plant. Other domestic consumer still predominated PLN.
Mineral Director-General of Coal and Geothermal Bambang Setiawan explains in 2010 abilities of coal consumption PLN will increase. If now requirement of coal PLN around 40-45 million tons, in 2010 PLN there estimated reaching 60-70 million tons.
This year, said Bambang, Indonesia coal production still being estimated reaching 230 million tons, where 68,5 million tons among others supply for domestic requirement. Of number 68,5 the million tons, around 45-46 million tons among others allocation for requirement of generator.
